Function description

In the position of FPGA Designer you will be responsible for the definition, design and implementation of next generation of products .You are a result-oriented engineer that enjoys to work with technical challenges and has capability to think “out-of-the-box”.
You will be involve in the whole design process from component selection, firmware design, schematic design and layouting using advanced CAD tools. You have a good practical understanding of hardware systems, hands-on experience with measurement/test equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and experience with design and layout of PCB boards. Software development on FPGA based-system is a plus.

We are looking for people with at least:
- Bsc, Msc or Phd in Electronics/ Embedded systems
- You have preferably at least 2 years of experience working with Altera and/or Xilinx devices
- You have preferably at least 2 years of firmware design (VHDL and/or Verilog)
- Experience with PCBA design.
- Experience with CAD tools: Cadence , Synopsys, You have preferably at least 2 years of firmware design (VHDL and/or Verilog)Quartus, ISE etc.
- Scripting is a plus
- Team player
- Flexible and able to work autonomously.
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a pro)
