Function description

You will be responsible for the design and development of innovative production systems for the poultry processing industry, from concept to product launch.
Your knowledge of the market will enable you to make a creative contribution, and you will be in a position to turn ideas into industrial solutions.

You will work in project teams on the development of the concepts and be responsible for the testing, investigation and verification of your concepts and designs.In doing so, you will pay attention to the implementation of the function, cleaning aspects, reliability, production technologies and cost price. You will then compile a documentation package containing all engineering aspects, transfer the developed concepts and ensure that all knowledge and information is assured. During the process, you will work closely with colleagues from R&D, as well as from Production, Assembly, Sales and Service.

Requirements

You have a completed higher preparatory education (HBO) or university education in Mechanical Engineering.
You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the food industry.
You have experience working with a 3D CAD system, preferably with Pro-E, and with PDM systems.
You have experience with methodical design and an affinity with designing in stainless steel sheet metal and plastic.
You are innovative, analytically inclined and pay attention to quality.
You are also tenacious and enjoy working in a team.
