Functieomschrijving (Sr) Research Associate Cancer Immunology
The Senior Research Associates will contribute to our (immune) oncology projects by developing and executing (biochemical and cellular) assays and characterizing our antibody leads.
Examples of techniques used in our research are flow cytometry, proliferation-, survival assays, ELISAs and/or mRNA isolation, DNA cloning, PCR, transfection of mammalian cells and/or affinity measurement, western blotting.
The candidate develops biochemical and/or cell-based assays to validate and select novel antibody therapeutics. He / she will ensure that output of the team is delivered timely and against highest quality standards. The candidate is expected to acquire, demonstrate and share relevant scientific insights to plan and execute the right experiments. The candidate is supposed to propose and/or implement novel assays and technologies. He / she will oversee lab activities are carried out in a proper way and he/ she will instruct, coach and develop new and junior team members.
- M.Sc degree with 5-10 years of relevant experience in the field of (tumor) immunology, oncology or related areas.
- Proven experience in cellular immunology and/or cell biology and/or molecular biology are desired.
- Strong focus on output and results.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to (out)perform in a team
