Supporting the technical managers in the successive phases of the project from basic design in the preparation phase to detailed engineering;Translating customer requirements into possible design directions and then having these developed into a final and execution design;Analyses contract documents and assists with cost calculations;cooperating with engineers from other disciplines, advising them solicited and unsolicited on the basis of your specialism;Your place of employment is Heerenveen, but you will work together with engineers at other locations such as Breda, Hengelo, a high-voltage location, etc.

Performing cable test and insulation measurements.Performing assembly and overhaul work on medium-voltage installations such as: solar farms, wind farms, distribution stations, medium-voltage distributors in industry and local networks (district distribution stations) and car charging infrastructure.Working towards being able to independently assemble all common cable connections in an industrial environment, a high-voltage substation or substation. You will do this initially under the supervision of a skilled colleague.If necessary, you will also be assigned mechanical engineering tasks. This involves assembling and (dis)assembling steel structures and components from drawings.Naturally, we will take your current level of knowledge, experience and personal preferences and capabilities into account. Due to the varied range of tasks in two disciplines, you will be trained to become an all-round medium-voltage technician.

What will you do?As an EMC Engineer, you will be responsible for:Conducting EMC assessments for new and existing projects, including high-voltage systems, renewable energy integration, and electrical substations.Analyzing potential electromagnetic interference and designing solutions to mitigate risks related to EMC.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects meet required EMC standards and regulations.Providing guidance on EMC design, testing, and validation for electrical systems, including cable systems, switchgear, and communication systems.Supporting the development and implementation of internal EMC guidelines and best practices to ensure long-term compliance with international standards.Staying up-to-date with emerging trends in EMC and electrical engineering, applying new techniques and technologies to improve project outcomes.
