As a Lead Engineer you are responsible for one of more (international) projects, depending of the size of the project.
What is expected of you?
- Leading engineers and, depending on project size, being responsible for one or more (international) projects.
- Maintaining a strong technical focus while using your cost-driven mindset to achieve project objectives.
- Creating schedules and effectively managing engineers within the project team.
- Providing input for project forecasts and presenting well-founded justifications to project leaders and management.
- Monitoring project timelines and ensuring clear communication with the project team and clients.
- Adhering to procedures and guidelines for project-based work while taking initiatives to optimize (design) processes.
- Short-term international travel may be required as part of project responsibilities.

The Marine & Offshore unit within this organization provides electrical engineering services and systems for marine and offshore applications worldwide. Tailor-made installations are designed and produced for shipyards in the Netherlands, while complete installation packages are shipped as ready-to-assemble kits to shipyards in Romania, Vietnam, India, China, and various other countries.
Our electrical services for the shipbuilding industry include consultancy, system engineering and design, the supply of both custom and standard systems, panel construction, installation work, commissioning, as well as service and maintenance.
